Problems

As academics, researchers, practitioners, staff of organisations or community workers we understand that we are working in highly pressured environments. Resources may be scarce but expectations to deliver on outcomes are growing. For example, new research assessment tools, such as the Research Excellence Framework, require our research to have far reaching impact. Similarly, community organisations are asked to evidence outcomes and impact that their work is creating social benefit. Piling pressures are leading to burn-out, low levels of well-being and a sense of stagnation.

Coastal Creative offers a different way of thinking through using a combination of creative practice and activity underpinned by academic research. Our approach has the power to re-energise organisations and make work fun in order to collaboratively explore new solutions.  We are creative catalysts.
